White Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

October 22, 2014

Hi everyone, my name is Paige, and I think pumpkin flavor is just okay. It’s heresy to say, especially during fall, I know. But it’s kinda true – so many pumpkin-flavored things are a little bland. However, I think I may have the recipe to end that: white chocolate chip pumpkin bread. Continue reading

Warm Oatmeal Apple Pie Crisp

October 11, 2014

I have a serious sweet tooth. Chocolate, pies, cookies, cakes, ice cream – you name it, I probably like it. My boyfriend’s sweet tooth is slightly more refined, though when we first started going out, he claimed he wasn’t a big dessert guy. Right… I fixed that quick enough. I baked my way straight into his heart (and simultaneously got him addicted to sugar). Love you, Sean!

What is his sugary weakness, you ask? Besides the sugar bomb cereal Lucky Charms (which stays out of the house because it is his Achilles’ heel), he loves fruit based desserts. Fruit salad, his Aunt Jenny’s mocha cake, pie, oatmeal raisin cookies, etc.

Well, lucky for me, neither Sean nor I grew up like that. And this is where this awesome mocha birthday cake recipe comes from. Continue reading

Peanut Butter Banana Bread

June 9, 2014

Hey all,

I know there’s already a hundred thousand other banana bread recipes out there, but I swear to you that mine is different and it’s also the best. Why, you ask? Well because not only does this recipe incorporate bananas into the recipe, but it also uses peanut butter! Continue reading

Blueberry Flip Flop

May 28, 2013

Hi everyone!

Are you ready for a sweet treat that’s super easy to make? My mom passed this recipe along to me years ago (she cut it out of our local newspaper long before that), and now it’s one of my go-to, easy dessert recipes. It’s especially popular with my boyfriend who’s got a sweet tooth for fruity desserts, and I love being able to make it for him so easily. Continue reading
