Eager anticipation doesn’t even begin to cover how excited I was about going to Taiwan. The only thing about this trip is that it also meant my time in Hong Kong was quickly drawing to a close. But better not to dwell on that fact. Pack your bags for Taipei!

Shopping in Hong Kong is like shopping no place else in the world. And in the same city where you can haggle for priceless antiques and rarities, you can also hike some the wildest trails you’ve ever seen. Hong Kong never ceased to amaze me with all the wonders it contained in such a tiny space. In the space of a few days I went hiking on a secluded island to sailing on a junk boat in the harbor of Aberdeen. Can you do that where you live?
