Ziplining with Iguanas and Snorkeling with Tiny Jellyfish

March 4, 2015

Hi everyone!

Are you ready to get this cruise vacation started for real? If you read my last post, I didn’t even make it off the boat, yet! Haha – but never fear, not only did we make it to dry land, we soared over it, laid on it andsnorkeled around it. Don’t miss my latest excursions on our Caribbean Carnival cruise.

You’ll Never Believe What Happened to Me Off the Coast of Cuba

February 28, 2015

Hi everyone!

My goodness, I had such a good time on that cruise, and so much to tell you – so, so much. But I’ll get to it all in good time. Let’s get started with the tale of my first ever Carnival Cruise (a first I can cross off my bucket list) to the Western Caribbean. Seven days of fun, sun and visits to Costa Maya, Isla Roatan, Belize and Cozumel on the beautiful Carnival Glory over Valentine’s Day and Sean’s and my third anniversary of our first date.

Are you excited yet? Look at the size of the cruise ship!

Trinidad and Tobago: Down the Islands is Where it’s At

Ah, Trinidad and Tobago. After getting my fill of industrial San Fernando and seeing where Sean grew up up close and personal( which was awesome), we were headed “down the islands.” And this is when TT most embodied the image people see when they think Caribbean islands. Nothing but beaches, drinks and a slower pace of life. Pretty darn perfect. Continue reading

Trinidad and Tobago: Shark’n’Bake and White Oak’n’Coke

Is your mouth watering from my previous blog about Trinidad and Tobago, yet? Well, there’s more where that came from – shark’n’bake anyone? Check out what we actually did in T&T instead of what I just ate. Trust me, it’s a fun, fun place to be! Continue reading

Trinidad and Tobago: Slight Peppa, Please

Where is the last place on Earth you’d expect a super pale, super sunburn prone girl like me to go? If you guessed a desert with no shade you’d be wrong. If you guessed the Caribbean, you’d be dead right. And not just any Caribbean island either, nope, I went to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Want to see how it went? Check out my blog below (hint: there’s a ton of delicious food involved!). Continue reading
