Hey everyone! Can you believe it’s April already? I certainly can’t. Time’s just flying and I still haven’t made much headway in the wedding planning: no date picked, no location picked, nothing. *Sigh* Eventually we’ll get it figured out, right? Right.

Asian Pork and Noodle Bowls

It’s hard to believe we’re already into December! At least for me it is. I have no holiday shopping done, no lists made, no nothing, but I’m excited nonetheless – cookies, carols, trees and decorations, more time with my family and the general good cheer and excitement around the holidays is always invigorating.

Chicken Soup

Like death and taxes just a few days after we got home from our trip to Trinidad, Sean started coming down with a cold. Poor thing. Summer colds are just the worst, and my boyfriend is someone who gets sick maybe once a year on average. While there wasn’t much I could do for him besides push ibuprofen and liquids while waiting for the cold to run its course, I did also whip up a batch of my mom’s chicken soup.
