I love burgers. Growing up, whenever we would go out to eat, it was a pretty fair guess that my order would be a cheeseburger. A little ketchup, a little mustard, some yellow American cheese and nothing else. Perfection.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Cooking a steak to perfection on the grill really isn’t that hard. I know every steak house and expert griller is denying this vehemently right now, but it’s true. Plain and simple. And I’ll tell you how to do it right every time.

Last night I didn’t feel like cooking. I just could not even. I also was over salad. Done. Can’t do it. Finito. But I had some leftover chicken breast and I needed a quick idea for it. What did you do you, you ask? Well, I did a big, easy, chicken and veggie stir-fry. It turned out to be just the ticket too.

Hi friends,
I don’t know about you, but during the summer, I feel a lot less inclined to get into a hot kitchen to cook up something in the oven – besides easy things like cookies or my peanut butter banana bread, anyway. Lucky for me, my boyfriend Sean is an expert griller, and even better he enjoys doing it. No lie. My dad’s never been a big fan of the grill aside from a few times during the summer, so I didn’t know what I was really missing until we started dating and Sean introduced me to the beauty of a perfectly grilled rib eye. In fact, we grill at least once a week in warm weather. Which brings me to my post for today: the perfect summer salad to compliment your grilled meat.
After a quick jaunt back through Shanghai, I returned to my favorite city on earth: Hong Kong, my Hong Kong! And words don’t describe how good it felt. If Hong Kong was fun while I was single, it could only get better by bringing my boyfriend Sean with me, and man was I right. It wasn’t just fun, it turned into an epic tale. Don’t miss this story!
